Privacy Policy
Your photos stay yours. Your data stays protected.
This policy explains what information Framevis collects, how we use it, the choices you control, and how to contact us about data rights. We use plain language so you can focus on creating, not deciphering legal jargon.
Effective date: November 22, 2025

How we use data
We process personal data to run the product, safeguard your content, and personalize the experience. We never sell personal information and do not run ads.
- Authenticate you, maintain sessions, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Store and render uploaded media, generate responsive previews, and deliver downloads to authorized viewers.
- Send transactional messages about account security, invoices, or feature changes (you can opt into marketing updates separately).
- Analyze aggregated usage to prioritize roadmap investments and improve reliability.
When we share data
We only share personal data with vendors who help us provide the service, under contracts that limit their use to Framevis purposes.
- Infrastructure hosting (Vercel, AWS) that stores encrypted files and metadata.
- Payment and subscription processors to collect fees and detect fraud.
- Analytics tools that measure performance; these receive pseudonymized identifiers.
- Law enforcement or regulators when legally required, with notice to you unless prohibited.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above or to comply with legal requirements.
- Active account data is retained for the life of your account unless you delete it or request removal.
- Deleted photos enter a 30-day recycle window before permanent purge so you can recover mistakes.
- Billing records and security logs may be stored for up to 7 years to satisfy tax, audit, and abuse-prevention obligations.
- Backups are encrypted and rotated; when we delete something, it disappears from active systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.
