Cookie Policy

How Framevis uses cookies and similar tech.

Cookies keep your sessions secure, measure performance, and power optional experiments. This page explains what we store, how long we keep it, and the controls you can use to fine-tune your experience.

Effective date: November 22, 2025

Essential Session Cookies

Required to keep you logged in, secure API calls, and maintain preferences like theme or locale across navigation. Disabling these will break core functionality.

Retention

Expires after you sign out or within 24 hours.

Control

Managed automatically; only disabled by blocking all cookies in your browser.

Performance & Analytics

Help us understand how photographers navigate dashboards, which features are slow, and where errors occur. We aggregate this data and never use it to show ads.

Retention

30–180 days depending on the analytics provider.

Control

Opt out via the in-product analytics toggle or by enabling “Do Not Track.”

Feature Experiments

Store anonymous IDs to test new layouts, AI curation, or onboarding flows. They only track experiment assignment and render state, not the underlying photos.

Retention

14 days unless you clear cookies sooner.

Control

Disable via Settings → Privacy or by clearing browser cookies.

Third-Party Embed Cookies

Activate when you load Vimeo, YouTube, or map embeds inside a portfolio. These providers control their own cookies and may use them for analytics on their platforms.

Retention

As defined by the third party; see their posted policies.

Control

Blocked until you explicitly interact with an embed or whitelist that provider.

How to manage cookies

You are in control. Combine browser-level protections with our in-product toggles for the level of personalization you prefer. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out, but everything else is optional.

  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies.
  • Use private browsing windows to limit storage to a single session.
  • Install trusted tracker blockers or set your system-level “Limit Ad Tracking” preference.
  • Adjust Framevis-specific toggles under Settings → Data Controls → Cookies.
